Yes your right Dave but as with a lot of these things the BOP seem to get used to them after a while,the usual plastic ones your talking about are models of the Eagle owl,have known people put them up and have no problems with the BOP for a while and then the next thing is they are perching on top of the model.

Some national clubs issue their own rings for young birds but for old bird racing as long as you have had them transferred there should be no problem.

London region I think wants it so bird is confined to loft or trap before its clocked.

For anyone thinking of getting one of these I must say they are brilliant,whenever I had been in the loft cleaning out etc I would aways end up coughing, and at nite as I lay in bed my chest would be making one hell of a noise,since I bought mine at Blackpool no coughing chest fine couldnt recommend them enough,mine is the dazer one but I would think the other make is just the same.For anyone who as the same problems as I had I would say get one I noticed the difference the first day I put it on.

Agree mate ,but how many clubs would bother to do a check as you have said.

This is why many cant understand the decision of the Region its getting to be a funny sort of suituation locally.

Dont think it is that simple are you saying that every pigeon basketed for a race be checked to see if the fancier owns it.

I dont I,m only going on what Ive read in the Wm region meeting notes and the proper owner as not been mentioned.

Phil wouldnt the decision of the region overule anything the club did,as it would go back to the region if his club did something like that.

I,m not sure mate I guess because the region as not done anything about it people will just have to except their decision.

Although I have known this person since we were teenagers it as left a very sour taste in many local fanciers mouths who I have spoken to as he races in the same fed,same section in the nationals etc,people are even wondering now if they may have been done out of money or positions because of this.

Yea same guy John,just tried to pm you but still problems with pms by the look of it.

Wouldnt think many clubs would do that Phil,but I agree it is something that needs to be done,I have checked a section winner before in the NFC,but that wasnt actually checking if the ring belonged to the guy,just verifying the bird at his loft.
