Believe the code could be DUNGANNAN anyone know any fanciers there.

Can anyone help in finding the owner of this bird, RUNG IHU 08 S 21012 TAURIS ETS RING ON.telephone ring on 01868 3478 BUT SAYS THIS NUMBER AS NOT BEEN RECOGNISED,perhaps someone knows the area code.Does it need a code perhaps before the number ringing from England.?

Could be a private club or private ring as I cant find any listed organisation with those letters.

Must admit I didnt think they made lofts,nothing in their advert that says so I know they make just about everything else in wood what you might need.

I know its no consulation but the Severn Valley pigeons from Carentan were liberated at 13.45 on Saturday when nearly all other feds held, even ones at Carentan,we had no problems with our race most members having very good returns,myself 9 out of 9 mostly yearlings,you ask (what was it this weekend)perfect one for us.

Heard at the club that Jeremy Davies (1loft race manager) as won section J,and John Fretwell as won section I.

If your using a ETS pad or pads just inside the arches you will have to fit bob wires on the front or else they will be illegal,got one very simular the one on the back of the Murray and Mills catalogue but have had to fix bobs to it now.

Are you a member of that club mate,if its the same club there,s a bird on another thread bellonging to one of your members doesn,t make very good reading IMO.

The owner of the pigeon is a member of the Torfaen Club in Pontypool ,the secretary,s name and number is MR.G.TREMEER 01495 758536.If you give him a ring he will get in touch with the owner but unless you have the bird contained there is not much the owner can do.Thanks for what you have done so far.

The phone number for the Portugese Union is +351 239 853 100,this is how its written here in England so the +351 maybe the code from here allthough not sure about the + sign,if you give them the ring details they will notify the owner.

Iam sure it will be 09 therefore the secretary of the club where its from is a MR.CLARE,his number is 01616 107237,he will tell you who it belongs to,but it needs to be contained before the owner will be able to do anything about it.

There is no real reason why the owner was not traced straight away unless the secretary is new and as no records of previous years ring sales which is unlikely,I would give the secretary another ring to find out if the owner as been notified.

If you could check the number I will able to tell you where its from,could it be GB 06 C 03751,If so its from Stockport in Cheshire,but you will have to check and make sure.

I can give you the address and phone number of the Portugese Pigeon Union but unless you can catch the pigeon and obtain the full number as well as contain it its not much use notifying the owner.
