  1. I dont want to take anything away from your birds acheivement racing wise but breeding from him is something differant,as he bred anything good up until now, this is what I would be asking myself, there are many champion racers that never breed anything like themselves so to fill your loft with pigeons that maybe only mediocre is something I would seriously think about.JMO.

Does anyone know if there is a BICC site where you can check if any birds are home from Barcelona.I see there are 3 galant birds home on the BBC site but cant find nothing at all about the BICC.does anyone have anymore info.on the stolen birds out of this race or any info at all.
  3. Got 3 members in our club that as sent, just off to set the clocks for them, hope you get a good one.
  4. At £200 a piece I would hardly think so,but you never know.
  5. You say if no one claims them, have you reported them, the chances of the owners seeing them on here are pretty slim.
  6. Personally I would let 2 new cocks have these boxes, have found in the past if you let a cock allready in the section have a new box he also tends to fight off anything that gets in his old box.
  7. Lost 4 birds in the last 5 days,2 youngsters missing after a hawk attack,1 reported in Wrexham by a fancier the other reported in Bristol by a non fancier this one was presumed hawked and died the next day,the other 2 are missing from the weekends race from Messac, not long had 1 of those reported dead on the beech at Budleigh Salterton Devon, nothing on the other.
  8. Entered 2 this year first time infact,I also only have 1 left but as you say only takes 1 to win.
  9. Can anyone email me Stuarts phone number please.
  10. Not heard of many of these being used, must admit I bought one about 3or4 years ago but have never used it but dont want to sell it.
  11. Where have you got this information from that Unikon is going to charge clubs for their system.
  12. May be of help to you but make sure the race is closed properly and all birds raced that week are deleted from the clock before the next race,I,ve found that most problems with ETS are human errors nothing to do with the systems.
  13. It all depends on what eqipment you need ie pocket clock, extra pads, extra wiring it all adds to the price but i think you will find the cheapest basic set up is Bricon at £249.
  14. I allways say the same thing to anyone thinking of getting a new system,it really does make it so much simpler if everyone in the club as the same one, allthough we have Unikon and Bricon in ours I find that the support you get from Unikon is absolute rubbish compared to Bricon.
  15. Anyone recognise this one BELG 07 6032719,ETS rung.
  16. We were at Fougeres as well yesterday, our birds were up at 8.45 in a NORTH WEST WIND, at times it was blowing a gale near us,we thought from the start that it would be a tough race with most members flying around 265 miles we were looking at 6 1/2 to 7 hours, the winner was doing 1187 6 hours 37 mins.Returns were a bit patchy winning member having 7 out of 8 when we were at the club at 6pm,others 2 out of 8,myself 5 out of 8 on the night with 2 on the loft first thing this morning.Surely the wind as it was and the heat was the reason as you say for the grueller.
  17. I to use a Benzing Computer Clock as a club master timer,it makes it so much easier if we have 2 or 3 races going on at the same time and have to send off a copy of the master timer to each organisation, allthough I can never remember having to get a new ink ribbon for our printer the information given above we no doubt come in handy at some time, please let us know if you are successful in getting a new one and where from.
  18. Thanks for that will get in touch with sec.
  19. Anyone recognise this bird that came in today or could someone give me the clubs details, cheers.

Where do you live JANET and where does the owner live,I,m sure a local fancier will look after the bird until its owner gets back off holiday.
