    WHY?

I'm appauled like everyone else reading this topic. Attacks like this seem more and more fequent, within the last year I can think of the Liverpool one (you organised the sale for them didnt you, johnny?), one in Billingham - posted on the forum by either ian_snaith or craig, about 2 weeks ago a loft was torched on the allotments that my clubmates fly to, in broad daylight! indeed the England match had just kicked off, and one in Gateshead couple of months back. Each brings me back to your first question johnny, WHY??
  5. Well done Linda. Never had too much problem with crows, but the wood pigeons all look like their about to fold thier wings an hit the back of my loft :X

  19. Hope some more come through for you. This week hasnt really been the weather for starting ybs around me; didnt like it at all; mist until 10am then back in again at 6pm; if you look also the visibility with the easterly wind is shocking, then the heat :-s Something I always do when starting my ybs out now (after a shocking few tosses last year) is come on the net and check the K index before taking them. http://www.sec.noaa.gov/rt_plots/kp_3d.html First read it in an article by Bilco; seems to have keyed in with a fair number of my bad tosses over the last few years. The article: http://www.pigeonbasics.com/articles/article2.html
  20. I started out with tumblers and fantails, the races came in any now I just have the one indian fantail left which I use as a dropper. The guy that got me into the sport keeps a stock of about 150 indian fantails though + coloured racers.
  21. Fougeres is far enough north to miss the rain on Saturday I think

    UNC Bourges

Good Luck everyone who sent to Bourges. Looking at the weather tonight; there is a band of rain going to be present diagonally across the middle of the country on Friday; however this could just be showers (heavy). That band moves south for Saturday and settles over northern France (more persistent rain). Wind looks like west/south west across the UK Fri/Sat, not alot of wind in France either day. To me it looks better for a liberation at Bourges on Friday, but depends what that rain is like across the midlands.
  23. 3. Proton is heavier Havent a clue the rest
