Go to b@q and get the runners for slicing wardrobe doors and then put a pelmet in front to cover the runner s , these get bolted onto the doors so can't be lifted off ,like the normal ones in pigeon lofts .

Just back from costa tiguise. Lanzarote , seen a gay blue pied with the wild ones with an ets ring on it ,it looked an older bird with bigish wattles ,maybe lost last year or year before, it visited my hotel every morn for a drink from the fresh water children's pool , while lying sunbathing on Sunday seen it circling high above our hotel , then a perigrine had a go at it ,and both disappeared behind the hotel , but it never got it as it was still there on Wednesday morn just before I left for the airport .

I'm like you David I think a mass lib will spoil an already great race . Jmho .

It wasn't even spoke about at the AGM davie , the race program was passed and dates set ,the only race to be arranged is the long distance one as always .

Hey pal it worked , I said oh sh it it's the snfc AGM today as well , waited about 2mins. , she said so are going to it , u know you don't like to miss meetings , I said I'm not sure ,your watching the g,kids , she said I would have been watching them all day myself if your job was still on . I said ok then in a not bothered manner. He he . So I am now getting ready to head off , will take me about an hour or so depending on weather/traffic .

My job just got put on hold till Monday , so if the wife suggests I go then I will be there , as she's watching the gran weans today as my Dtr is away at a wedding , so if I say I'm now going to the AGM she might flip it , so I will wait till the right moment and slip it in about the AGM and let her say why don't you go , lol let it be her idea , got to know how to play a woman . I'm glad of that ian as I do really think it's an opertunity to reconcile . And who knows maybe next year to the gold cup /gold medal race together , yes there are hurdles to get over , but if members are serious about one national then IMHO this is a first step .

The point here alan is this ,the SNRPC are going to Troyes again this year ,probably, and it doesn't run at a loss because of the good will of some top guys , they were informed at last years AGM to approach the snfc to see if the wanted to got to this race ,1st of all to share costs , also to get a bigger birdage. , they done it alone last year with a great race with great returns with only a handful of pigeons , to me it was also put to them as a friendly gesture ,and I was hoping that it would be the first step of reconciliation , come on guys it's on here all the time ,There should only be one national , well this was a step nearer that goal . It's only convoying facilities two separate races one lib and controlled in Scotland ..IMHO it could be a missed opertunity .

Great that you have looked at it John , we would have a Scottish race controller and all birds coming into Scotland not stopping half way and our birds have to keep going . Oh and maybe a wee chance of reconciliation in the near future .

Don't think it's right ian , the proposal last year was for race program to be in before a certain date not the dates of races , surely common sence. Would prevail and dates could be altered to suit everyone .
