The only prob I see with the postal voting is when the AGM comes along the numbers will fall attending it as some will vote in post and not bother going , then the whole AGM might end up being postal . Yes some can't make it etc , but on the whole don't see it as being good for the snfc jmho.

Sat at the Lanarkshire social circle moot a few years ago Chris Gordon was on. The panel and unless I mist it he said he fed 100% barley. Almost all the year even during the race season and only gave them a mix for a few days or maybe a week before a big race , his record is there for all to see. I have fed barley during the winter months for years now and the birds are in first class condition , I feed around 80% barley. About 15%. Moulting mix -and a handful of red band thrown in till they finish the flights off then all birds get 100% barley till first week in February ,then the stock pigeons go onto a mix and barley till they lay !the racers stay on 100% barley till start of April . Great for when they aren't doing anything .

If we are all honest we are always learning ,no one knows it all ,although some think they do lol.

Although I would rather race from Maidstone than Portsmouth ,i tell the truth Lewis and Portsmouth was a good race , the two yearlings I got I also timed them from Newbury a couple of weeks before that , winning 1st and 3rd fed , the winner being a son of Karens girl . Think Newbury was 900 odd yards /min

I don't think so Owen ,horse racing , I could never ever remember Celtic cone being a prolific winner in races , but as a sire of national hunt racers , his offspring were champions , Celtic shot , Celtic chief , to name a few could name a plenty others that won at the festival at Cheltenham . All top horses , yes in flat racers their all bred but top race sires .

I must say that I've raced from Portsmouth with the snrpc a few years back and it was a great race , I got two yearlings together. Although one sat out fir 3minutes , and I was against going to it as I would rather race from easterly race points , but had to point out that it' was a good race .

Spoke to two current snfc winners who use their products , the canker stuff , their words the best on the market .

Top class hen was Jim's red and also the second pigeon a blue pied of Gareth's both would grace any distance loft in Scotland .aldo picked the red out before the judge even started .
