Decided the other day to alter the young bird loft and let a bit more air into it.Good or bad Idea or not, I'm half way there.I cut six inch off the top of the perspex window and fit some weld mesh ,then to stop the rain blowing in I fit a piece of sterling board along the hangover. Have I done right ? what's you opinion ? Lindsay.

Your birds won't drink a lot this weather unless they are feeding young .When I have to use any treatment in the water I only mix half a teaspoon to a litre water and use the other half tomorrow. Lindsay

COLD WATER !!!!!! Couldn't resist it. If you have microsoft office,open your picture with paint,try reducing at 80%. if it's still too big reduce again at 80% till it's acceptable.You can check the size of the photo by right clicking on it and click properties .Site only takes pictures 512 kb or below. I've raced on the Gerry + system for the past few years.That's using Gerry + during the beginning of the week and going onto Super Star nearer race day.Looking at the prices of Versa-Laga I doubt there's going to be a change.I was in the corn store through the week and saw there was some Versa-Laga Surbline,(if that's the spelling) at £13:50 for a 27kg bag ,I might give that a go ???? if the wallet allows me? Grit fresh every day,black minerals ok but give them a little amout at a time or they will go mad for it ,then your worse of than before. Lindsay
