  9. I was trying to get over to my daughters for the New Year, travelling the A66 is not te best of things to do but with all the snow I thought I would call Penrith Police,I knew they would be busy so was prepared to hold the line for a few minutes.Gave up in the end and done what I should have done in the first place.Google roads closed in Cumbria. The system that our local police have with new telephone numbers IMO does not work, reminded me of British gas .BT.SKY. and the likes of them. 12. I've never vaccinated for para.but am considering doing the young birds, reading through various post there seems to be a problem somewhere. Is there a set procedure for vaccination,I would like to get it right and not loose any valuable youngsters. I would thank WD for letting fanciers know that there are pitfalls and hope his birds pull through the problem with no side effects. Lindsay.

I don't race a big team of pigeons and when sending over the water I would be sending one or maybe two.I have flew reasonably well in my opinion but never excelled like some fanciers in this area that take distance racing serious, as I say flying a small team most birds go to most races and are not put aside for the special one.Won the club and been well up on fed and combine sheets racing the Gerry + system that's upto Messac at 480 + miles. I would also like some of the top distance men on here to put a good reply to your question. Lindsay

  23. I use to go to an ex members loft nearly every day and he was a good stocksman and racer, during the warmer weather I've seen him put the nest pans out in front of the loft while he was cleaning the boxes out,YES he sometimes forgot which pan was which, but he still won more than his share. My opinion sooner the better. Lindsay
