I think your wasting your time,should you be lucky though I would use washing up liquid and a ladies hair clip to pull the back toe through,as I say if your lucky. Lindsay.

No snow here YET,everythings iced up,skating rink quality,freezing fog on top of all that vis. about 5 to 10 yards. Lindsay.

After doing a bit more reading on Harriers it appears they don't bother pigeons or so the rspb say,they eat smaller prey.Still don't want them on my doorstep,most of the small birds have already disappeared. Lindsay.

Fatal round here (letting them out) the fells are covered in snow and percy comes down here for lunch,also seen lately a sparrow hawk hen doing it's rounds,haven't seen one for quite a while,can do without her. Lindsay

Missed cleaning out for a couple of days (Not me) so got them sorted this morning,just a covering of snow on the ground and no more.Standing in the loft checking them over then the sky went black and I meen black,I thought someone was throwing stones at the loft,hail as big as marbles for about 5 minutes managed to get the loft doors closed , with my hair style could have done with a bump hat and now snowing on top of it.Roll on Summer. Lass of mine won't be happy then she was heading out with four or five mates for a Christmas knees up. No snow here been minus whatever all day,started getting warmer tea timeish , about - 1. then it rained,now freezing something serious.roads and pavements very slippery Lindsay

Up Two but it's along winter for the old timers.

Birds done first,down town till the butchers for some sausage ,black pud and some tripe ,cooked chicken at the co-op. £20 worth of diesel and back home.Check birds watch horse racing ,feed birds check later and remove drinkers then settle for the night.That's if I don't get the Euro lottery up tonight.If I do that's all changed.
