Hi Owen , I agree with what you say about water intake, especially when racing in hot weather, that's one of the reasons that Thursday for me is clean water and Friday electrolytes at half strength.
  11. Done and dusted mate. Lindsay

  13. Whisky bottle ????????
  14. Hi Gooner, they use to have the same situation with clocks on our club so we strike them off when all birds are basketed ,being all T3's we don't set them on Fridays they are set the previous Saturday after rubbers have been remove, saving time and seals. Lindsay
  15. Baytril is also in tablet form,I don't know if these would disolve if added to water or what the correct tablet/water ratio would be. Lindsay
  16. We Just have a small club ( once 34 members ) so where pos we all muck in, one member poor soul I don't know how he clocks his birds infact make that two,but the other does the clocks .The job gets done no complaints and two new members for next season (hopefully with a grant for ETS ). Lindsay.
  17. My condolences to his family. RIP. Lindsay.
  18. Totally agree Owen,it's the only way fanciers find things out about various products that they use.As I said before there will be a lot of fanciers treating their birds before the para jab and not giving the correct dosage, and buying 100ml is buying far too much. Lindsay
  19. Did I say I didn't beleive you that's why I wrote. It would be a lot better then to buy 20ml when required Lindsay
  20. Be carefull .The one in the middles a BLOKE. click to enlarge. Lindsay.
  21. The other 60% would either end up as fox food or road kills, the roads in this area are littered with them. Lindsay
  22. Homesidelofts, Quote. "Plus as baytril has a shelf life of just 28 days buying baytril for pigeons by the litre would not be worth it." You made this statement in a previous post,my reply was say that the last time I aquired Baytril from a vet I got 100ml taken from a new 1ltr. bottle.so you say the 900ml left at the vets if not used in 28 days is of no use ? There will also be a lot of fanciers out there using Baytril that they have had on the shelf for months. It would be a lot better then to buy 20ml when required. Lindsay
  23. Just passing the time away and came accross the link below . BAYTRIL 2.5% £24. for 100ml presume for pigeons. BAYTRIL 10% £165 for 1.litre for poultry. That would be £ 16:50 for 100ml and 4 times stronger,so you would use 4 times less which would again make it £ 4 :12p for the equivalent 100ml at 2.5% Something or someones taking the mick Lindsay http://www.petprescription.co.uk/pages/quicksearch-img.lasso?-op=cn&name=baytril
  24. Is that for all 5 or each. Lindsay
  25. Hi Klaus. Seen the hen on the other site ,she looks a real corker. Lindsay
