Hi Owen, do you think that say two members in a club vaccinate and the other 8/9 don't it could cause a problem.Could one of the vaccinated birds become a carrier ? Lindsay

Hi Owen, I've never vaccinated for para. but was concidering doing my young birds.As you say vaccinating knocks hell out of the birds,do you think it is wise to do Y/Bs as they suffer enough stress without causing more.If your reply is yes vaccinate , when would be the best time to do them,ie. when they leave the nest or wait till your full team is through and do them all together.Shoul they be treated with anything before vacc. George was a big mate of mine,I visted his loft 3 or 4 times a week,If we weren't at his loft George would take us up to Eric Edwards of Keswick another fancier who had some of the best.George left Cumbria and went to live at Higham Ferrers nearer his familly.When the Cumberland Social meeting or sales were on he always called for a cuppa and usually left me the choice of a bird and the other would go in the sale.Never failed to leave something special. I use a T3 and have a red cased STB as a spare,they are a great clock,every one should have a spare (especially at that price) accidents can happen. Lindsay
