    Free Birds.

Staff Van Reet red pied hen . Kirkpatrick yellow pied cock . Decent birds, paid a few quid for these just a month or so back. But they don't fit in with my new plans so if anyone wants them drop me a PM. Pic's and video's available. Collection required ASAP or sort a courier out etc. Free and hopefully will do another new starter a good turn.

  12. Dave when you go to login/sign in... Does it have your profile and also one called, "Administrator? Or just yours? I think if you can get in to the Administrator one you can do a system restore to a few days before this hiccup and you will be back to normal.
  13. Cheers Walt, how does the law lay in terms of how high you can go before your neighbours can be *expletive removed* and complain.
  14. I went for the green (as I'm Irish). Amen to that STB

  18. Hi Guys, Looking to build a YB loft in the next few weeks. How high is it ideal to have it raised off the ground? Also, where it is going currently it is grass/lawned area. Would I be ok just stacking paving slabs levelled off to support it? Or would I need to go as far as laying some hardcore and compacting it like I was laying a patio? Obviously the less ball ache the better. But I don't want it to be wonky as a 3 legged horse after 6 months Not gonna be a big loft 12ftx8ft max. Am not the most technical guy with building structures, so want to make sure the supports/footing are ok. Any info much appreciated. Thanks, Pete
  19. cheers andy. haha yeah that picture is quite unusual. my house was bare bones when i moved in but saw a set of these 6 pics in the local charity shop only 50p each. I think they are raunchy 50's pic's. Considered as art now not porn apparently (well thats what I tell my missus)
  20. I'm new to keeping birds but have kept and bred other livestock for years. As Owen mentioned, direct sunshine is a big thing. This is the case for us humans and also dogs and birds etc. Vitamin D comes from sunlight and is essential for good bone development (when you have a new born baby even the midwifes will tell you make sure the little#uns get adequate sunlight. Very important for the skeletal/bone development so on that note can see it being just as essential for the birds.
  21. Walter every pic I have seen you post has been of exceptional birds. I hope 2014 is a great season for you.
  22. Good thread and I have posted pic's on another thread but thought I should add to this one as it might encourage other members to. Me (Pete) and the recent addition.
  23. Cracking looking little lad Tony and like the long hair like a lion. Is Buddy the chequer with the unusual pattern?
  24. I worked at a ub40 gig once at wembley. i was the poor wee *expletive removed* stuck outside pouring the beers for the *expletive removed* enjoying themselves. Gave up the pouring and snuck into the gig mid way thru and it was awesome. Could smell weed all over the place and lots of terrible dancing going on. fantastic music though. Ali Campbell has some voice on him
  25. You got 4 for free, put one on each of those birds ya tight git
