Have a bundle of old annual books (some as far back as the 70'/80's). A few have minor water damage stains on the outside but no issues inside. Make a good read of all the articles and champion pigeons of days gone by. Also a video called Inside Story which shows internal organs of the birds and how they all work on a scientific level. If anyone is interested in this bundle all I'm asking is £10 (for the whole bundle) to be donated to charity (through the forum to Ian McKay). Chad that isnt really fair if the website system lumped my two separate posts together and then set the post time to when the 2nd post would have been gone up (rather then the time of the first post). To be fair it was some technical issue rather then me being underhanded. Both of the other bidders have been asked and agreed to this so if they are ok with it and also the seller Joe is I dont get why you are angry. Im a new starter and new to the site also, apologies to all but im just a guy after buying some birds to get started with. Sorry for the drama but it wasnt anything intentional.

You can even see above that there was two threads bundled into one by the forum software. Why else would i have done the first lot of bids in one paragraph. Then further down on same post bidded again, higher amount on same bird. That would have meant I was out bidding myself. I posted twice, first post pre cut off. 2nd post at 5.01pm. The website combined my posts and set the time as the one of my last (2nd post). Please check and confirm this before cancelling my bids as this really isnt my fault. There is no option to choose the site combined my posts even though they were posted separately. This is down to website settings and not me posting after 5.

My original bid post was in pre 5pm cut off. I then posted again (seperate post) saying, "Lot 10 £30 bid" as someone else posted a bid for £25. The forum software coupled/combined my two posts into one post and then my post showed as 5.01pm. My original post was pre the cut off please check as this was 100% the case.

Lot 1.bid £25. Lot 7.bid £ 25. Lot 8.bid £30 Lot 10.bid £25 Lot 10 bid £30

Can someone explain the 5 minute rule please.

I have some birds now that are prisoners so won't be out excercising. I want to have them in good health and not too fat etc. What sort of corn mix should I be feeding them to get them into decent shape ready to pair up in 6 weeks or so.

The oldest two are 8 and 9 year old cocks. Real stunners though. Being that age should I let them raise both eggs or just one? I read the older birds get the less well they raise young. So by that logic I guess letting them raise one would make sense. But then I'd obviously have less YB's and also knowing my luck all cocks or all hens!

Cheers guys, I know it's humble/small/basic etc etc but we all gotta start somewhere right. For the amount of birds I plan to start with this is ok for me size wise. If all goes well this can one day be the stock loft and the racing loft can be another project. Time will tell as to how my first year or two goes.

Hi Guys, Does anybody know if Mick Stockton, "Stocky" from Audley in Staffordshire is still racing?
