2 tosses x 15 miles ,2 tosses 17 mile ,2 tosses 15 mile different direction ,1 toss 30 mile ,1 race 58 miles, I started with 32 I now have 22 birds bought in first tae go ,late breds 2nd tae go .Now ready for Saturday race i am looking for a window some time Saturday morning ,the joys of putting birds good luck everyone.

6 sent to Brechin 58 mile 3 home yesterday 3 missing 2 late breds and i with a gammie leg ,just as i was looking at post one of the late bred flew past front window hes in now so thats 4 from 6 ,2nd from last in club only member flying natural due to health reasons so got to be pleased to get them home .

First toss yesterday 34 up 26 home some never been away before 15 mile i gave them expected to have some late or missing I cant get exercised at my own back door for hawk attacks 3 doos killed 3/4 saved by me or the dog I am ,bluddy fed up of it so the only time they are going to be out is when i take them for a toss ,the hawks are as desperate they have flown in the porch door after doo and we have been standing there watching birds when they are out.

Cancel the race that week normally they sus out what the weather is doing before hand ,but yes i see your point its not that simple .If a lot of English Feds turn north its nae going to be very easy getting a clear run ,but hey the racing hasnt been all that great for returns with out that happening so we will just have to put up with it i am afraid .

Communication between FEDS must be the answer to this ,out of interest sake does Ayr north roaders talk to North East fed on race day ? .Why dont North road feds race on alternate days from South road Feds ie you race Saturdays one week and Sunday the next just a thought .

The wife and i were cleaning out dookit about 2 weeks ago and doos were out a neighbour 2 doors down shouted a hawk took down a bird in his yard by the time we got it picked up it had struck again in the opposite direction bringing a second doo down in the car park 50yards from back door wife went to it she coudnt see it and then the dog joined her and she found it cowering under a car behind wheel so it flew away and was saved but the first one was to badly damaged to survive they the hawks were desperate here started letting birds out again and nothing seen in last week thank god.

I bought 60 unikon ets from SHU all assigned to clock fine only one quibble after using Taurus clock & ets i find Unikon ets awkward and difficult to put on birds leg by your self anyone else found this.
