Sending 4 all were at Maidstone, 2 fancied birds and 2 yearlings needing to earn their box for next year. Best of luck to all that send, forecast looking great.
  3. A big well done to all that have timed, especially John Duthie once again showing that when the goin' gets tough, the tough get goin', good on ye John

  8. Full cloud cover with light S/W wind, much cooler than last couple of days in Forfar
  9. Am writing out my 3RD race sheet, can't decide. Any amount between 6-12, will we get a liberation on Saturday?
  10. HEAR HEAR, but unfortunately it's at the point where the BOPS are the length and breadth of the country.
  11. Best of luck, but remember they still need the experience of a liberation with other birds ie. transporter. Admire you for trying to get them to lead rather than follow, very time consuming, so hope you get the results you are after.
  12. June 20th at earliest
  13. Can't really give an across the board answer to this. Different birds take longer to recover than others. Can't go far wrong with rest and high protein diet for a few days. The bird will let you know when it's fit to race again. Observation and knowing your birds only comes with experience.
  14. Top twenty in Federation, hope to send 15 this week and maybe send to Newbury
  15. I will split my team now and select individual birds for certain races. Have topped Federation twice this year and not been out of top 20 in any race.
  16. Lost my first bird from Wakefield on Saturday. Started with 25, still got 24. With the exception of 1 cock that was hawked they have been to all 5 races.
  17. 2 flown out birds in tonight SU 09 NE6962 and SU 12 L5812
  18. Well done to all concerned, can I ask what time you liberated?

Two yearlings missin', sometimes wonder if it's worth the stress. Hope that they are sitting up somewhere, time for a few rum shandies Sorry I've posted on photo forum
