Local laws apply, there will be a minimum distance from you boundary, height restriction before planning permission or building warrant is needed. Gone are the good old days when " yi kid day what yi liked ", much depends on how the neighbours react to it.

Our club members win the Federation on an above average regularity and are very successful at National level year upon year. All members will have birds in the sale so come along and bag yourself some winning bloodlines. -
Must agree have used same bottle on more than 1 occasion and never had any problems, but would never use after date on bottle. Maybe a bit off double standards on my part, only telling what I've done in the past. Think it's more important to use individual needles, more time consuming, but more important IMO

Have tried to refrain from commenting on presentation night, but feel I need to add my honest opinion. The company and craik was first class, the breakfast was great, as for the meal.............. maybe better not commenting. I hope to have future wins within the SNFC but most definitely will not attend at same venue. Would appreciate some feedback if anyone could agree/disagree.

The short answer is YES. My birds are on a 50% general mix and 50% barley mix. My mix will be changed 14 days before pairing, to bring the birds into condition for pairing. The only additives I give is cider vinegar in the water once per week. My birds are never out from mid Sept. to early March and given a bath once per week in the aviary........ HEY PRESTO perfectly fully moulted birds. Keep it simple. I used to buy these super moulting mixes and loads of supplements and the birds never moulted any better. The one thing I now do differently is extend the hours of light to get the darkness YB cocks thro' the moult before pairing

Good to see Ypres cheque finally fall through letterbox, down side is no explanation as to hold-up. Have heard a few "reasons" but nothing definetive, can anyone shed any light on why so late. This may not be proper forum to ask on but no explanation with cheque?????

Would agree from the birds point of view but from a fanciers point of view a corridor and an aviary is the way to go. From a trapping point my birds all trap through the same trap from 28days old till whenever. No getting them used to the "old" bird loft or such like when you have seperate lofts.I can fill the drinkers from the corridor and view the birds without going into the ends. Having built lofts using old boxes and any old bits and pieces over the years, to finally have a pigeon and fancier friendly loft, I know which one I would rather have. Having a state of the art dooloft doesn't however gaurantee success, hard work with the correct birds coupled with a guid loft then your on the right track. AW THE BEST

You pays yir money yi taks yir chances. I'm no saying that it's a level playing field Del but there are a few cracking houses up for sale in Forfar all ideal for doo lofts at the back door, come join one of the most competitive clubs in Scotland
