  1. Well done to all some cracking youngsters.
  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAEME AW THE BEST IN 2013 SEASON
  3. Had cat problem after relocating loft to my own garden. Solution 2 cat hating Jack Russels. Cats are a pain in the backside but they are not daft, I still see the cat in neighbouring gardens but doesn't venture near my garden. Once they realise your dogs are about it won't show face near the loft.
  4. Totally agree why can't fanciers just support the people that are trying and working for the sport. Every time that something new or different is organised why do others try to pick fault. Support is what is needed or a sport that has given many people great enjoyment over the years will be no longer.
  5. Agree with some of your comments, I would have liked more info about birds prior to the sale. As there was little or no info, I travelled to sale. There were no "pedigrees" as such, but I bought what I liked, based on my own preferences. I think the people that missed out were the ones that did not attend, some quality birds at very cheap prices.
  6. Do you have a post code or street name for Bowling Club
  7. My birds are now confined to quarters, next time they will be out free flying , probably February next year. I have aviaries on both racing and stock lofts. Both myself and birds need some respite from B.O.P.
  8. A big thank you to Davie Gullane, Austin Whittaker, Dougie Kempton, George Briggs and Davy Glen for going to the bother of helping to return my pigeon to Forfar.I might add that apart from the initial cost of the bird coming from the stray centre no other costs were involved.... well done and thanks again.
  9. Season over up here in Forfar, it's a pity cause weather seems to have taken a turn for the better.
  10. Fully agree but can only tell that condensation is not a problem with my set up. Ihave a kennel enclosurethat is only single skinned and it was dripping in the frost.
  11. No problem with condensation the roof is double skinned, triple glazed polycarbonate sheet covered with profile sheeting. Temperatures as low as -20 a few winters ago and not a drip currently trying to download some photos but not having much success
  12. Agree that natural light is far better than artificial, also allows heat in. The roof in my racing section is 50/50 polycarbonate sheeting and wood. When i first built the lofts wondered if too much light but 3 years down line and excellent results, I would recomend natural light anytime.
  13. Totally agree we all need to pull together........... name and shame
  14. Great work AF 2396 belongs to me, would be willing to assist with getting the AF AB and DF birds through here. pm me if something can be set up
