  9. Quite a lot of the top national flyers have put these into there bloodlines in the last few years. David Hales of Essex who was 1st and 2nd in the international races last year, has some of the best of the Biss lines.
  10. As i said on another post we all need to come together on this including the main pigeon sites. lets get a big sale going which can be run on both sites with the highest bids from each site going in to a auction held at blackpool. Already Mr Wilcox has offered his services. it would be a massive sale. bigger then the current charity auction held at blackpool. also a £1 -£2 increase on subs would be a massive help.
  11. If any help with donation's of birds for auction etc are required i am more then willing to donate. John

  15. Started the year with 48 39 of which were yearlings the rest were broken birds. all have done at least one channel race most two and a couple have done 3 this year. I have 43 so not to bad. cheers John
  16. Have to agree on the issues raised on this thread. 1) yes we need to do something and fast about a good PR person 2) why not organize a massive auction which starts on all the main pigeon forums and ends up in a massive sale at Blackpool. 3) i totaly agree with Albear children should not be out target audience brilliant if we do get someone but think the 50 somethings are the one to aim at there kids have left home they are thinking about winding down work wise and they tend to be more likely to have a pound in there pocket. lets not let this thread die or be deleted it should be important to us all john
  17. Mark Caudwell birds and system are winning at the very highest levels NFC & BICC. they are some of the best sprint/midde distance birds in the country with out a doubt All the best john
  18. Born into them with my Dad being a fancier all his life and my grandad for most of his. and still i learn something new about them ever week
  19. 2nd and 6th against 371 birds
  20. With good quality birds feed and prepared for the job your losses should not be that high normaly only when you get a real smash are the losses high but that can be north or south when the distance increases. no birds were home from Thurso in my area last year. but plenty from Tarbes. just some food for thought mate
  21. leigh marked tonight racing from Portsmouth
  22. Hi mate I have two of the strains mentined Gabys and SVR and we fly in one of the best sprint clubs in the country all races are from 90-139 miles and we also fly NFC, BICC and L&SECC club for water races. and i have to say our SVR are far faster in the out and out sprint races then the Gabys. however the Gabys beat the SVR once you get to 150 mile + (unless very easy day) so just depends on what sort of racing you are looking at mate. cheers John
  23. So is this just if you had not updated your clock for the update which come out Feb time ????
