  1. Yes you would be in that time but it would show all your birds on the exact same time do not think anyone could claim all my entries come at the same time and all landed on the pad at the same time and were in front of everyone elses.
  2. Hi Jamesa I have not seen this issue but from what i have read on this and other forums all birds are clocked at the same time so if you sent 10, 20, 100 etc they would all have the exact same time. think someone would question this if it had happend PMSL John

  9. Hi mate As you know you are more then welcome any time mate. I think what you say about strains doing well in certain areas has a lot of truth in it mate. having spoken to people that have flown in different areas i.e scotland north east and now south east they say different strains excel in the different conditions and terrain they have flown in. some food for thought John p.s about time you come over and see me

  12. I agree Frank i went to Belgium in Feb and i would not give house room to 99% of the y/b's i see there. However i do think some times it can take a year for new stock to settle to bred there best y/b's
  13. sounds a great idea and if a succes should be rolled out through out the country
  14. Kev sounds as if something is wrong which is upsetting the birds. Did you train them un anyway before letting them out. i.e did you get them used to being called for food did you let them see outside the loft Aviery or by placing them in a basket in the garden so they can see loft and trap. did you place them through the trap a few times to return to food as there reward. were they hunger when you let them out? I find the above helps a lot for settling y/b's i also like them to be hunger but not starving when you let them out as if they are to hunger they seem more flighty and nervous. hope this helps a little even if it is to late for these ones John

  22. not sure what vitamine it is but was told by a vet that if they are eating there own poo it is a sign they are lacking some vits
  23. Y/b's just like young children if you keep them to clean and away from germs as soon as they go to school or in the race basket they are always ill. kids that grow up playing in the dirt and young birds that are not cleaned out don't seem to get ill. The floor of my y/b's are not cleaned from the day they are weaned until after the last y/b race, perches are scrapped once or twice a week. and my y/b's race as well as most. And a very good friend of mine never cleaned out his birds from 1 year to the next and he won many top races combine fed even getting a bird home from Rome into essex another year he had 8 from 12 on the day from Thurso 500 + mile when less then 30 made it home in the whole combine. Deep litter is also very good As for drinkers i have seen some of the best distance flyers in the country with drinkers Green with alge 365 days a year JMO John
