Personally would not want this “tracking†stuff during racing !! The whole point of racing the Doos for me is waiting on race day looking skyward in anticipation of birds arriving !! Just my opinion but think it would ruin it for most Fanciers

Not trying to be negative here but just can’t see betting companies giving it a second thought to be honest ! Pigeon Racing is not even classed as a sport !!

Can’t see how this would benefit the common Fancier ? The problems of high losses due to birds of prey or illness and rising costs which are driving a lot of guys out the game would still be there

SNFC Race Rules (22) Birds stamped with owners name,address and telephone number will not be allowed to compete. Such birds will be Basketed without being race marked and entry fee forfeited.

What definitely is funny is those who don’t want their feds race program to have national racing in mind yet when it come to buying and wanting donations for Fed sales themselves and the Fed want and ask from the guys who send and do well in national racing

Had a look through John Ellis’s Race & Stock loft birds details from 2013 & 2014 that he gave me and there is no reference to these birds !

Purchased a few young birds from John in 2014 and was given details of birds in loft a the time and reference birds ! I will have a look when home

Walter yer Doo was the Best Single Performance by a Young bird in Scotland 2018 No question about it !!

Going by the report in Joes column it states the Unikon Trophy for outstanding performance by a young bird was won by a YEARLING cock of Billy McEwan Jnr of Dundee ???
