  1. In 1991 I won the section I at Pau NFC 660 odd miles. The cock was a two year old who was a Van wanroy cross Alfons Bauwens. He flew the young bird progam and then as a yearling every race up to 500 miles when he was timed on the day being beaten by a loft mate to be second club and 4th Fed. 1991 he won the section as I have said then the fllowing year I sent him back but it was a smash race and he failed to arrive until about one year later. He had been in someones stock shed and not oput fielding because he was in better condition than when I lost him. His name was Boris

  8. Alwyn Hill has a very good mealy cock who has flown very fast probably chased by a BOP, scored x3 times at the longest race NFC. I have a few colours in my YB team and know I will loose most of them because their breeding is suspect. I have lots of grizzles red and blue grizzles. Bronze which are Indigo and a few barless mealies and now two Opals. I think if a pigeon is haked it is just that bad news but colours dont make a difference. atb MJB

  10. Pigeon was not flying but looks like it had a big bump trying to evade a BOP so has few feathers missing from her chest. She looks like she is good condition except not flying which I am sure she will do with a little bit of rest. I will ring you tonight after 6pm ok

  13. if it is just paralysed no outward injury put it into a nest box for a week with food and water it can reach. One day about 7 -10 days it will be standing on it then you can begin letting it out inside the loft to keep its wings supple. Then after 2 weeks let out of loft and treat as the rest of your birds.
