Anybody hear if the show went ahead what with all the bad weather and high winds etc.

Must admit i had to laugh when i read the news that they were putting their prices up again due to the increase in costs ....fuel..... did nobody tell them that diesel has actually come down by approx 8p a litre since their previous increase. goes to show what happens when you have a monopoly.

The only two manufacturers i can comment on are M&D and Blakes and i would have no hesitation in pointing you towards blakes as the service was first class and was delivered within 4 days as for M&D i would not recommend them due to poor workmanship and poor quality materials.

where on that post does it say anything about the shu not going strong try reading it again . I could fill this website with case after case of mismanagement, both of members funds and interests, failure to adhere to their own constitution, etc etc etc etc.. Chris you are 100% correct the two organisations could not be further apart in professionalism, and how they conduct their business.

Henrik are you having a laugh or what the SHU refused to verify the rings for the SNRPC so i suggest you re check your allegded "facts".

Henrik firstly what would you say to an appeal being heard when the appeal letter was weeks late, contained the wrong info and was not addressed to the correct people, not even a registered letter. but as i say it all depends on who you know. surely one rule for all is it not. Secondly i am not sure if you are trying to have a pop at the SNRPC, Peter Virtue or the late John Fairbrain, but to drag a deceased man into your futile attempt at a slur shows the desperation of your plight. You posted numerous untruths on here stating that SNRPC members had to be members of the RPRA .....not true. Did the SHU refuse to transfer rings for "certain people" earlier this year. I can also assure you that Peters bird was checked and all above board.

I must say that if these are the facts that rings and other items were ordered and then not paid for i would have a lot of sympathy for those left to carry the cost. What i find totally unbelieveable is the SHU trying to take the high ground, how could any organisation who ignores its own rules and constitution whenever it suits them be taken seriuosly by any other. Until very recently the SHU thought so much of the confederation that they sent along an unelected offical. here is a question for BRUNO, SQUARE PEG, DANDYDOO, HENRICK, AND ANY OTHER WHO WISHES TO TRY AND OFFER A REPLY. WHEN IT STATES IN YOUR FED RULE BOOK AND YOUR UNION RULE BOOK THAT ALL APPEALS MUST BE IN THE HANDS OF THE SECETARY NOT LATER THAN 14 DAYS AFTER RULING................WHEN WOULD AN APPEAL BECOME TIME BARRED......................................???

I would just like to thank my good friend kenny bald for coming through today and having a look at my birds and my setup and for all the advice and information. Congratulations on your well deserved RPRA award, hope this is the first of many and judging by the quality of your stock birds which you brought to show me i am sure there are many more awards to come. look forward to seeing you at the presentation night where we can catch up over a few beers. mandydoo if you want to check the previous posts i think you will see who was having a pop at who....try removing the blinkers for a while, if you cant take a little bit of friendly banter what is the point of it all. the facts are that we have 2 clubs offering national long distance racing to fanciers with lofts in Scotland one is open to anyone who is a member of any recognised union and the other states you must be a member of the shu, my opinion and it is only my opinion is that the clever members are those who are members of both, twice the oportunities to win a national.

Is it true next years presentation is taking place at the kelvin hall.........well it has all the facilities needed .....
