  1. Rpra and algarve golden race were two I enjoyed this year. Algarve great Derby is also very good.
  2. Dont be mistaken lads, percy is everywhere round here. I was hit just the other day with some late breds from 9 mile to the South and one was into them above my loft a day or two after. Theres one around Inveraray that has plays havoc too. Like I said though, you've a great route up the great glen and I really hope it's a success. I actually said to a pal in Iteland a couple of years ago they could do the same but opposite.
  3. That looks great Lee. I think you will get good racing up the great glen and hopefully down the coast from here. Your west of the mountains on that route. I'm looking forwards to seeing it all come together and see doos racing over me 😉
  4. Its the only way and there would be no issues. Easy enough to have anything audited to confirm everything is above board, as it would be. Infact in would maybe get a higher number of members involved to have their say.
  5. Aye it would be grand for me Derek but like Walter said, not everyone is familiar or able to get access to these things.
  6. More than likely. The way covid going there will bd no agms and these zoom things wount suit an awful lot of folk.
  7. Robert can I ask what you mean by"the real Clydebank fanciers"? Al
  8. Unfortunately that's far from the case. They are all the way up the country, literally everywhere.
  9. Its finding a balance I think. Keep them topped up so they can fly and home to the loft along your route etc. I dont think I would do it with my race birds but half a dozen spare doos, definitely worth a bit of effort, and if it works, bingo .....
  10. Have a Google on vitamin b6 and its effects on percy. Well worth looking into and the beauty us it's a safe alternative to certain things.

    Disaster

Talk about airing your dirty laundry in public. Surely this could be conducted in a more adult and professional manner.
  13. I'm not sure there Phil. I bought the ck because it had Frank's best in its breeding. Had a great wee afternoon with John and we came away with another 4 gifts. One was another ch ck that scored in its first race and had another 5 or 6 races into Oban. With hindsight I should have put it away till the next year but I thought he was on a roll and I dropped him.
  14. A few years ago I got a few eggs as a gift from Davie. Turns out one hatched into a fantastic breeder. This ck had 4 races into Oban as a yearling this year. 15h fed from Ripon and 10th fed from Worksop. Hes a half brother of "Frank" my 4th Section doo from Arras. Same dam, the Davie Jamieson hen but the sire is a ch pied John Duthie ck which has Frank Baillie and Jock Ellis blood along with one of John's national winners So pleased to get something from John's ck and it looks like Davies hen has clicked with a couple of cks.
  15. Good wee day at the races, well done lads ðŸ˜
  16. Sounds like a fantastic race. Must have been some sight ðŸ˜
  17. Fantadtice results Davie.
  18. Some season Danny will get you a pint or two in the sunshine If we can make it out at the end of September
  19. Can you point me in the direction of the post re the tracker. I'd be interested in seeing it. 6 from 10 here, Worksop on Monday. Only doos in the Sky would have had a hand in it I'd imagine. Another sore one.
  20. Ive paired my ck that won Glasgow fed race from Catterick last week to my great wee Ogilvie Hen Sire of fed winner is a son of Curtis Wall and Lunts Miss Dumbledore (dtr of the Merlin Pair) He also bred a 4th Open Lanarkshire Fed last year and previos section prize winner for George Baird. Dam of Fed winner is a dtr of GWP Macaloneys Wee Wille hen, one of their best breeders. She also bred a pigeon to win 2nd Clydebank club 5th fed Catterick for me and a doo that took section prizes for George Baird in Lanarkshire. My Ogilvie hen bred Dileas, 11th Open and 2nd ace pigeon at the Algarve Great Derby. She also bred Oban Express, 1st then 2nd club Clydebank last year. He inturn bred my 3rd club 9th Glasgow fed a few weeks ago. Winning bidder can have one from these two or anything else that they fancy. Good luck with the sale Freddy
  21. Crikey, this is like pulling teeth, i'm still none the wiser. You said to the members that they may be breaking the law. So is the club basketing for Dunbar?
  22. So is the club not sending this weekend then? I have had nothing from the club except the proposed fed race programme. Haven't a clue what's going on.
  23. Did no one from Clydebank send training yesterday then Stuart? When do you think you will start? I'm just doing my own thing for now.
