  1. In at 14,42 from Annan, 131.6 mile. Waiting on too many though.
  2. At the risk of tempting fate GB 16 S 34238
  3. Probably half Allan, around 25, will keep eye on weather but it looks fairly settled. Thanks, and will do, fingers crossed
  4. First race on Saturday, down the west for the first time so a wee bit daunting. 132 mile or so from Annan with WSCC. Hopefully Malky in Arrochar going too and Brian from up here so a few more birds than usual to try and make it up the road. Forecast reasonable though a few more degrees rise in temperature would be good.
  5. Well done Jim. Your turn this week Jonesy
  6. First race of the season with WSCC, Annan, 132 mile or so to me, not decided whats going yet
  7. Looks like this lad will be fine, walking on leg no problem now 😀
  8. Great start for you George 😀 well done!!
  9. hardy wee things Davie, Cheers and you too
  10. The sick bay is filling up all ready and not even had the first race. Two hens out for season, looks like hawk damage to breast on one and under wing on another. And a cock with a broken leg, all from Saturdays toss. made a splint from mastic tube nozzle, cable ties and cotton wool. Hope he will come good. Fixed one years ago like this and seemed to be fine.
  11. Stuart there was no committee, no racing, no transport, the fed members voted against central marking the committee have ignored that. We made arrangements to race, as you already had done. And we have not left the fed, we still have members in Glasgow fed and so is the club.
  12. Aye Stuart there has been enough winding up, just hope yous can get it sorted out for next year and get members back.
  13. Why is it poor? we made alternative arrangements to get our doos away because the fed imploded. No sec, no president no racing we were led to believe. What on earth were we meant to do? We didn't make plans even before the meeting like many in the know did. If the whole thing had been handled in a professional manner this would never have happened! We would still have had a strong fed. And why are you still trying to wind things up? maybe you should be thinking about building bridges rather than trying tio stir the sh**
  14. Arrived this morning, seems fine. Race robbery. No wingstamp or phone number ring though.
  15. Weve had two and three sea eagles flying over us every day for a week now. Not sure where they are heading but quite a sight!
  16. Got another six today Stuart, hoped for more right enough. One hawked and one with damaged leg. Just need to worry about those that made it and move on.
  17. Robert like I said we were, and are, just happy the doos are going. And have to say all at WSCC have been fantastic. Had enough of pigeon politics, its no wonder the hobby is disappearing.
  18. 3 hens back by 7 this morning, nice wee sight, sitting with a coffee waiting for the rest now
  19. Music to my ears Tommy , there was a wee decline up here a couple of weeks ago too
  20. I know there are plenty that do the same Tommy but mine have 45 mile of mountains over 1000m. I will probably give it a try though. certainly food for thought Will get the thinking cap on Allan, its a possibility
  21. They've been flying great round loft, been over the moon with them to be honest. just don't have the confidence they could race to here without training. I don't doubt some could but the majority, I just don't know. maybe need to try a wee experiment some time
  22. That's why i only train to inverary, used to train to club or glasgow but losses were always pretty poor, decided to give them a chance in a race like you say and i think im actually better of. Still a scunner right enough but its hard for everyone these days.
