  1. I have spent a lot of money on birds in the last few years but all my best have turned out to be gifted birds from some very genuine gentlemen. Al.
  2. It wouldn't do the rollers any good flying them with racers. If they get into the habit of flying fast they would become less frequent in the roll. Al.
  3. Hi Steve. The ones I had were the first pigeons I got, they were show birds from John Stark but I got them for flying out. let me know if you get anywhere with your pal and the other birds. Cheers. Al.
  4. I think you are right to a certain extent. A kit of rollers will stimulate each other into breaks. But I flew my wests with the roller kit and it never made any difference. Al.
  5. I had a pair of wests a few years ago. I had them for about a year and never saw any tumbels except for 1 week when the cock did a few flips whenever he was out. I tried everything with the feed and could nvere get him to do it again. It might still be in some of them if you can coax it out. Like someone said though, an awful lot of them are bred for show and most probably nver fly out. Al.
  6. Hi John. Try the national birmingham roller website WWW.NBRA.co.uk it has links to all the clubs flying in England. Al.
  7. Your more than welcome, Cheers. Al.
  8. Hi folks. Just found this site and have enjoyed reading through the posts etc. I am up in Oban, west coast of sunny Scotland. I have had pigeons for 5 years now, mainly Birmingham rollers, a few Orientals and some racers. There are no clubs anywhere near me or I would race the birds. Al.
