    Disaster

Did any more of the missing doos turn up?
  2. Have a go at the races with them, maybe get a nice surprise I had mine out today in the wind and , flew for an hour then it started pouring and wind got up even more, they flew for almost an hour more. Feathering is fantastic and seemed to cope with the rain with ease. They are on a mix of whats left from the season and are doing great on it.
  3. Probably more than enough Mik but couldn't find it 😀 interesting read so far.
  4. Just received this book in the post. Looks full of great info. Some good reading for the winter nights :-)
  5. I had one that was a nightmare in a section last year. Locked him in his box for a week and fed him there, seemed to settle down after that.

  9. Were either of these from your tasker doos?
  10. We did Gaelic when I was in school. It's always been an option up here. Not sure what they mean by Scottish though. Also lots of primary schools around now that do all their teaching in Gaelic.
  11. Used to be 30 feet, then 7 miles for a couple of years. No a few hundred metres but when new house is finished will be at the bottom of the garden 😀

  16. Great wee read Walter, very interesting and thoroughly enjoyed it, and well done to Jim
  17. That was one of my concerns, theres one thats scored from France before it came to me but its been in stock loft for 3 years and Ive kept nothing from it. A few others that have never raced but have flown from loft. Will need to have a wee think.
  18. Time to start sorting through the stock doos. Have a few to move out to make room for new entries. Looking forward to getting organised for next season already Most have all been broken to the loft so will get them trained and give them a try down the road. Has anybody had success with this? Taking them out of stock and racing them after a couple of years?
  19. Huge turnout, managed to get a cracking wee hen
  20. fantastic, love it, first live band I ever saw, Mark 2 escort, 120 miles and 3 cases of tenants lager 😀
  21. Very sorry to see Gareth selling all the doos but hoping to get down on Sunday. Hope it goes well and he can come back to the sport in the coming years
  22. Oban to see if other people and other birds make a better go of it than I have. Would be a real test for the doos for sure. And I could get involved
  23. Had a go a few years ago with Frank and enjoyed it. As I don't race ybs here it will extend my season a bit longer and good test of the doos as you say
  24. I was looking on rpra site to find enty forms for 2016 but cant see them. does anyone know when the entries need to be in?
