  5. Ryan I tried to buy from Unikon on there stand at the Spring Fair in Holland A few years ago and they refused and said they only supply unions ad to contact the SHU John Harvey in our own club bought 20 from the SHU last year when he joined but the club gave him a Tarus clock so I bought the rings still in the pack unopened . I could not get any of then to work and returned them to SHU . They were not convinced he bought them from them even after giving them the dates purchased and said they only handle them for Unikon and were not responsible for dud rings . to cut the story short and weeks after with no reply I pointed out to them they supplied them and they were the source to replace them I did finally get them but they were not pleased as they had many reports of bad rings bought on the internet all SHU rings have your loft number in it and I don't think anyone else can use them again
  6. on looking at you suggestion I agree with some of it we must try something but whatever way we go we will still have a dog leg to the west section and the moray firth idea is of no use use to NOS fed clubs . The birds would be near in inverness long before they reach Elgin ad Buckie but a great opening for the Wick and Thurso fanciers and I hope they it takes off and I wish them the best of luck . As for reducing the birdage in the NOS fed I think Elgin with about 16 members do not support it in the way it should with the amount of members they have. Keith with five members send more on a regular weekly basis than Elgin, one week this last season Elgin sent 60 youngsters and John Thomson had 50 odd of them that is not helping to cover the fed costs which increase every year The fed results are changing every year its not all Fraserburgh and Peterhead now as in past years Keith and Deveron valley score quite regular now and I think the birds ae taking a different line up the centre of the fed making it a bit more even . New members of the Fraserburgh club fly from Fyvie well short of Fraserburgh and they are getting Fed positions so well done to them as it would never happened before . BUT ONE THING IS CERTAIN WE HAVE ALL TO STICK TOGETHER TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM

I want to set you straight about The National clock stations as I think you are pointing the finger at me as I accidentally deleted my bird from REIMS and you are wondering how I managed to do it Well get a map and check the North Section covers from STONEHAVEN up to the SHETLANDS and the clock station is ABERDEEN. ALAN RITCHIE a Deveron valley club member got an official CLOCK OPENING STATION AT BANFF YEARS AGO to save members from the moray coast having to travel to Aberdeen to get there clocks opened and we have had no bother with this and it is well run till my mistake at Reims . This is how it came about the national races are on our club base station and I unfortunately deleted the REIMS RACE FROM MY OWN CLOCK when I was entering for a young bird race so I was the only one to loose out and nothing unto ward was done . the clock opening station has been well used in the past with no bother and would like you to think again about the area we had to travel for national racing and scrap your suggestion we are only trying to help fanciers who don't have a clock station within 10 miles Gogs Wilson
