Hi mate They get possibly 1/2 ounce after morning hour out then all they want at night being 2 parts start plus & 1 part barley until they leave the barley , they fly very well both morning and night the down feathers are everywhere . I do realise the start plus is heavy for them but if I,m honest they are in fine fettle but the blue flesh . They get naturaline and garlic in water 2 days a week .

My race birds have blue flesh , they are in good condition fly for fun and eat well , I obviously have read of it being this and that ie too much protien ,respiratory and so on , just wanted a few opinions on it , they are fed 2parts start plus and 1 part barley they get naturaline in water 2 days a week with garlic .

Got to go where transport goes not being a driver Charlie and they take cards ,will always use you if possible mate but as I say transport is my problem.

My best Cheltenham was a few years ago when Nichols was in his prime I had 11 winners mostly favs but some good punts too , 2017 I never had a winner or each way pay out ! Think there are a few guys that use a breeding mix for racing as they contain everything the birds need but maybe tweek a bit as we go out over 350 mls , Great loft report , they have been a very good loft for a few years .

RIP Eddie. he was a genius he lived only a mile or so from us and was also a very good fed flyer early on , while marking for one of the nat,s he handled my 2 entry's and told me to kiss them goodbye as I would,nt see them again ,the birds were held over and I had a darts tournament and got blootered woke up next day and both were in loft and because I never controlled my clock I could,nt time them , the whole family were great doo men .

Do some home work and it won't cost anywhere near a grand , remember all top fanciers get their birds from some one else to start with so we are no different ,then the hard bit You need to get them to win . But clearance sales would be my choice .

I think the Snfc should only fly the channel and maybe a yearling race from Ypres and agree leave the inland to the Feds with possibly Amal races to increase competition , The last nat Agm I went to I voted for just Chanel races but we got hammered and I can tell you there were a good few from west Scotland voted to keep the in lands nats . But where I differ is I think birdage will go up in the nationals if it was a specialist distance club like it used to be .
