  3. Was also hit last weekend ,the barsteward was on the bird and just stared at me then flew off was 2 missing but one came back the one missing was off my gold cup pigeon !

  7. Can't disagree as never heard of this ! Too clever for me . But I don't train or race ybs and my late breds get locked up all winter having very little liberty , but the first nat I timed 1 later bred and had 2 more within minutes so not sure how it works . Jmo

  9. Good post , Think it holds the answer that high and low humidity can cause it , it has never concerned me too much but only some perches have it ! I have 48 perching area,s and mold on 5 so have closed those 5 boxes and noted where those birds perch just to see if it's the birds or where they perch ie draft,airflow .

  14. Thanks will look it up . Have a feeling I mentioned this once before on here , just curious as some perches had it others not but in all lofts all different types facing different directions .
  15. Have a humidity control heater in one loft so no damp there and never had antibiotics or any medication all year. I was thinking that as I introduced them onto beans mixed with barley and seed . Thanks
  16. How does mould appear on the birds droppings after a few days ? One loft has panel heater because of dampness from the tree,s One loft is brick built with Avery Also found that droppings in Avery have it too All different lofts and types but all got mould on droppings . Birds in fantastic order but the thing is it is not on all perching area,s ? ?

  24. Barley &seed morning And as much as they want at night , not interested in measure n feed at this time of year .

My hens are out all winter , lost one to Percy I think a month ago and birds would not come out loft for over a week but ok now , It's the first one for a long time I have lost to bop but the slightest noise from other birds and their off . So happier not so sure but it keeps them in fantastic condition .
