we have had 7 from 14 now.. others are 6 from 12,, 1 from 3,, 8 from 20,, 11 from 15,, 17 from 20.. some have faired better than others,, I think lots have gone north with the wind.. birds were still coming tonight at 7pm.. winner in my club is doing 1215ypm.. best in fed I expect will be 1240ypm.. Birds have seemed well in themselves on return,, just been around the country.. I wonder how they cleared at maidstone.. I expect more will come tomorrow.. best of luck to all ant

port talbot will be 189 miles at 15.03.. bird in swansea at 15.12 will be 197 miles.. don't expect these to touch the north,, I expect the boys down here will be doing around 12.50ypm.. very rarely the birds come from the beacons,, but this south wind has been quite strong today.. welldone to all ant

very tough race for the west ,, we have had 6 from 14.. birds coming from the brecon beacons,, must have gone too far north.. birds passing in singles all afternoon.. best birds in west are 15.03 port talbot.. 15.12 in swansea.. best of luck to all ,, fingers crossed for more to return.. I expect the north will take top 30 or 40 today,, welldone to you boys,, My thoguhts on the race are that is should have been yesterday,, they held until 10.30 today so must have been full cloud cover there and this must have been very close to a cut off time for a hold over.. ant

we had a bird in the race and finished 96th,, very pleased the bird got back ,, not pleased with the blow home,,but thats racing,, wind plays its part in the fed every week.. if they had got a north wind we would have had higher losses.. so you pay your money and take your chance.. with lots home the yearling race could be a very serious event next year.. welldone to the winners ant

we had birds up today,, the wind is blowing a gale over here but very pleased with the birds,, we are behind but the returns are good,, my mate in blackwood texted me and had 1 at 11.50.. we are in 12.57.. but happy they are home.. best of luck ant

we entered to fly in a breeder buyer,, so just happy to enter.. might even enter folkstone aswell as last weeks race was a very good race and the birds learned and it will help their line of flight for next year.. we buy all strains and test them to the limit.. the best tsrains to get are the up and coming ones,, so get in first and get their best.. once they start to win big the prices go through the roof.. went to luc van hoecke in 2005 and paid £30 a bird.. you won't get now for under £150 .. the best strain we have ever bought was the van reets,, we bought these as they are winning all over the country and into different areas.. ant

you see all the rescue people using fairy liquid,, give them a good wash and rinse them well.. they should be ok.. best of luck ant

we clocked at 11.34.34 in the west section,, so a very good race for us,, only sent 3 and got 2 back by 12pm.. welldone to all concerned.. not sure about velocity but 1363 ish I expect.. flying 189 miles 890 yards.. best of luck ant

Our 3 are there..lol.. going to be tough as every loft is much shorter than us,, tom did any others send from the west section or is it only the 2 of us from the pen y waun station.. have a good race ant

all on ets,, the clock just clocks into each race basketted for,, so only need the clock and a pad and thats it,, even if 3 birds from different races come they can clock in on the same second in to their individual races.. we have in the past raced to 3 lofts with 3 t3's,, very tough that is.. ant

rob this will be our only race with the national as we bought birds in a breeder buyer,, but we are hoping for a good race,, these birds had chale the isle of wight last week and came well.. so fingers crossed.. lets hope for a clear run through ant
