I would say its the gosh hawk population,, the gosh hawks were very rare down here in wales 10 years ago,, but now there are hundreds,, they are the mink of the bird world,, they kill everything and have no fear of humans,, Have a guess how their numbers have got soo large,, all I will say is buzzard nests and transplanting eggs.. many other birds will go by the way side,, but I do expect a backlash very soon regarding things like this.. best of luck ant

west wales birds the same,, our club sent 75 birds and only 7 clocked,, I think there were 14 birds home last night,, we have had 5 from 9... they both went the same time I think 10am,, winner in our club is doing 668ypm.. The sky was empty of birds all day,, thunder in the air,, I know lots who sent their brussels birds as it was a day earlier,, they are now not sending to brussels due to the returns,, hope we all get them back.. ant

we use amino acids,, vitamins,, b12 ,, yeast stuff,, our birds look 100% and I personally feel that these products have helped. we don't go buying everything to use,, but things like vita pro combo are essential at our lofts.. best of luck ant

we have been turned down many times from gaining membership to clubs,, sometimes members have put their resignations on the table if we were allowed in,, I think the RPRA should be involved in any rejection.. I don't know the reasons behind this and would like to know them,, There is always a reason, ( good flyer,,loft position,,out of the click, upset someone,,) I hope the fancier involved can get somewhere to fly his birds.. ant

The system we have now is a combination of about 3 ,, it works well for our birds,, so we are very happy.. find out what makes your birds tick,,One system might be better with a particular type of birds,, We have no intention of changing ours until we find a better one,, we are always tweaking the one we have though,, best of luck ant

Petron are top price,, Mickey lennon has the best (fact),, he has over 30 x 1st fed winners at his lofts,, and all for him,, so not using others results.. I have a guy having 10 off me later in june and he went to petron and said they were very money orientated,, There are many in the midlands with maris from mickey lennon.. I don't have his number and he is very hard to contact,, the oldman wrote him a letter a few months back but no reply,,lol,, mickey is a busy man but been to his lofts and the birds are superb.. Sorry I can't help,, but ask the midlands boys on here someone will have his number,, all mickeys maris are blues.. We don't keep them pure though,, we cross them into our janssen family.. best of luck ant

we have 2 sets of drinkers,, one set is in the lofts the other is in a bucket of bleach and water ,, so everyday they get changed,, we swill the bleach ones then add to the loft,, the one from the loft goes to the bottom of the bucket full of bleach,, We buy cheap bleach and add 4 litres of bleach to 20 litres of water approx.. best of luck ant
