if it's needing a pint or so of water, there's a small leak somewhere, if it's the head gasket you'll see whitish/greyish gunk around where you put the oil in. when the temp gets to high the fan comes on to help cool it. around town maybe your not driving it long enough for temp to go up. normally when your on a long run(motoway) the temp should be ok as your constant blow of cool air through the rad. get someone to have a look for you

hi chris, i think in the long run people who resist the temptation to reach for antibiotics all the time will be the winner's. all our racer's pick their own mates i think this way birds will be happier and a happier bird will want to return more i think.

i had a disagreement with a fancier that was using baytril a couple of years ago and he's had sickness problems last season. i'd remove the youngster and keep an eye on the other's , giving gem on the corn with colostrum powder and aquaguard(gem) in the water.

our old ones have 1 or 2 tosses before racing starts. our first race is over a hundred miles, if we had a race of around 50/60 to start maybe we would'nt bother then.
