  2. we picked up a tidy striker from a scottish club, he's called jason scotland can't stop banging them in.

  7. i've lost a young cock(twice) in the yb season and had them return 2/3 weeks in to the old bird season the next year.
  8. i've never had a scotch stray in here, id say 90% of the strays i get here are irish,normally after talbenny.
  9. she was picking up down here in swansea just after 7 this morning.
  10. to much trouble for some people i suppose. i've only had 4 pigeons reported since i started and 1 of those was in germany. if 1 comes in here we phone straight away or if it's not stamped we find out the club from the ring list and phone them.
  11. it's probaly a number of diffrent things weather,illness,hawks,wires and fancier's
  12. i did'nt lose many but i only send to 1 race. i only lost 1 bird training up to the first race and it was reported dead about 15 miles from here(hit wires). trained as a batch upto 15 miles then singled up from 20+25 miles.
  13. i got 60 rings. but i won't race that many. last year i had my biggest team of yb's 42.

  15. i'm not sure how it works with this courier as the birds were payed for the other end. but i used uk pigeon courier's also this week and i payed for 1 bird this end and he took 2 other's which were being payed for when they reached the other guy. he seemed happy for the buisness and was'nt worried about having the money up front, also the young birds i had delivered were in good nick and in tidy boxes.

  17. hi chris, i got some on they're way to fife but don't think they'll be there until the morning. that lad/lass near the border is not expecting them until10-30 11-00 .

  19. they picked half a dozen here this morning(7-15) going to scotland, not sure when they're going to arrive. the guy in scotland just been on the phone to me and said only his mother is at the address were the birds are going and she's 87 and as no lights in the loft so hope's they don't arrive tonight.

  21. lol, i'm gonna pick it up tomoz. at the moment i got a dozen youngster's in with my old racer's. but i can't leave them there. so it's a bit of a rush job.
  22. me, all of last year young uns are still in that loft so i did'nt have anywere to put my young uns from this year. if it had just been the loft i would'nt have bothered but as it gots perches and boxes i thought it do for yb's.
