Sunday was a Hard race, no more no less. The first 3 were easy races. Of course you don't want them tae go past 100mls coz yer shown up for whit ye are. A BAD FANCIER.

Here Danny where are the disastrous loSSes (2 S's no wan) happening. All my Ybs are natural and NAE training. Mind am mister average no wan ay the big shots and ave got plenty Ybs left for next year because I managed them to suit Ma sel. If your sending Sick birds that are bred aff numpties by a numpty then yer gonny get 80% losses. Ps. Race 5 at the weekend I sent 4 got 2 and am disappointed in the 2 that never made it because they are Fed and Bred tae race.

Aye Dunc, in Ybs if a race is cancelled they Must return to that racepoint the following week then continue the program from that race forward. That means the final race is dropped as there is no provision to extend the program. Ob's race the program and if they miss a week they just go to the next racepoint on the week it's due missing the cancelled race altogether.

If the race is cancelled this week they will go back to Thirsk next week. Week after Retford last race.

The next race will be Thirsk, whether tomorrow or next week. Read the rules on Yb races you'll see what a mean. Cheers

Uncle down the road caught this bird in amongst streeters feeding in his garden. Was badly injured and he tried feeding/watering to bring it back up but it died after a couple of days. He reckons it was shot, as shooting is his passion I reckon he will be right. ETS Ring was intact.

Aye Davie looks like whatever held them up was near the racepoint and that has allowed the weather to shut out the home end before the birds got into their respective areas. Like yersel I hope the vast majority make it today and those that have had to go down make it home over the weekend. A lot of hard work time and effort has been put into them and I just hope the guys reap the rewards of their hard work by gettin them home in decent condition.

The Theory is just that, a Theory. As is eyesign, good back, Apple bodied, dancing pupils, umpteen wing Theories the list is almost endless and I would guess that less than 1% of fanciers actually understand these theories and even less implement them. !!!

Dunno aboot the game being knacked Derek but this race is. When only 1 organisation takes the decision to race today you've gotta beg the question how the F they came to that decision. Widnae have sent if it was our fed who called it. Can see this week's race cancelled altogether coz Sunday didnae look much better than today or the morra.

There is a DVD about it out there. Had Geoff Kirkland and Frank Tasker in it. Sorry I canny mind the name of the dvd but maybe some of the other guys will know what one it is.

A sure road tae disaster Billy, if ye keep giving them Anti's then the benefits will be of no use to you when they Really need it. Can take only a very short time to ruin their immune system. Try getting penicillin aff yer doc and see how difficult it is, they're no refusing us them for no reason !!!

I am of a mind that Ybs shouldn't be libbed in winds exceeding 20mph BUT it's not a Rule and until it is put into the equation the controllers don't have that guideline. Also in our rules is liberations must take place as EAP. In theory this is a good rule but not always to the benefit of the birds. Have heard it before from fanciers criticising controllers one week for waiting too long tae lib them then the very next week they're greetin coz they are up too early for their liking. Sometimes we just have to accept bad races/returns as part of the game. Lanarkshire have had 2 or 3 Difficult races but with decent returns so complaining when we get a bad yin is ridiculous IMO.

Canny imagine why ye thought it would be postponed 24hrs Wullie. The rule is very clear that unless a race is IMPOSSIBLE on the Saturday the birds must be basketed Friday for the Saturday race. Conditions did not support a postponement. Also have to look around at the number of organisations who suffered more than us on Saturday from different race points. We get one or two races like this every season with no clear reasons why they turn out to be bad races. We can all speculate about time of lib, delay or no delay, never go back tae Sedgefield etc etc but truth is there are NO GUARANTEES we woulda got a better race with a 10/11 or 12 liberation or from a different race point.

Every fed west of Stirling it looks like. A only dropped 3 but lots of guys have double figure losses and are left wondering where they went tae.

After the weekends racing and the reports of thousands of birds not making it home you would think numbers would be plastered all over the site. Only 7 numbers have been posted up since Saturday so where are all the others 👀 👀

Nothing more home to my place since yesterday morning. Looking at areas birds are getting reported I suspect they were hit and turned by Percy soon after the liberation. No much can be done about that except no gawn back tae Sedgefield again.

Stayed up tae watch the final and he never looked like losing ðŸ‘👠Time he stopped that greetin though, he'll no get tae No.1 if he canny get rid ay they emotions.

Well she's took up residence with the old cks Andy and appears at home in there. Will leave her til she shows tae a Ck then shift her next door way the hens. No plans tae race her again this year anyway and she would be going in there in about a months time regardless.

Opened the Ob loft and she's in the corridor picking about. No real interest in the cks but curious.
