One of the finest fanciers i know races his young birds the full programme never bother about weather thats up to the controller his yearlings also race the programme 2yo to the channel after all club races maybe only houses 12-20 birds for the winter no mob flying but the one's he has have earned there perch 1st club 1st fed and 1st national what more could one ask for perhaps if we all took a leaf out of his book things would sort themselves out,to much molly codling myself included me thinks

Pigeons were still working through Moffat in batches of 20's and 30's between 12-45 and 1-30 wind was still pretty strong then sun came out back of one and things warmed up since ,none flying around the town now so must have all cleared good luck .

Sun was out early on but not now 100% cloud cover with that nasty ne wind which is still as strong as yesterday visibility good 9 degrees at present feels less with the wind .

Got to agree with comments regarding east winds especially cold strong east winds just in from walking the dog and the wind factor feels like 5 degrees bloody awful ,temp inside the hut today said 9 degrees last weekend it said 26 degrees some drop in seven days,yes the bop are everywhere now no matter where we go are in most cities really we are only supplying the food chain but whats the choice waste money on a saturday and go watch scottish football me no thinks so .
