Regarding remarks made this morning about race returns yesterday and the one's that were missing were a way of getting rid of rubbish ,at first i was taken aback with the statement making my own excuses regarding performance,went out with my mate on the bevvy today to clear my head of doos,when i got home (worse for ware)i asked my wife and daughter who has 2% interest in the birds to give me a hand to feed and water as the youngsters also needed out for exercise,I was going on about yesterday's race and making all sorts of excuses when my daughter said dad did your top birds make it home yesterday and if so did you study them after arrival as i have just fed the racers as you have told me and they are doing something that the youngsters 72 of them are not,you must not be doing something you normally do ,i asked what she meant and she replied i have heard you going on for years and can see by yesterday's result something is wrong,How right she was you see the word laziness comes into play not the time keeping which is spot on but the finer details regarding 100% health ROUTINE ROUTINE ROUTINE Shame on you Michael Currie that it takes your daughter to point out the problem,example last year Marlbourgh SNFC fourth open strong ne wind all good birds home no excuses yet club race this year against a few 100 of the pace Birds not Right Look ok but missing the fine point that is usually ROUTINE ,No one to blame Just Me MIRROR MIRROR .

Going by xc weather .Yes the wind has to be very strong on the channel which will not make for an easy race also states a lot of mist and fog about which will be a greater factor.

I your uncle jim's some man steven ,once asked him up years ago to wamphray when the doos were not performing he was only in the loft handling birds 2 minutes when he said to me michael you have got some s*** in this loft and a bigger problem son they are breeding s*** now if they've no got what this pigeon has get it sorted,when i returned home i followed his instructions and solved my problems no many people would tell you your lofts full o s***,along with your da they are 2 of lives character's .
