Wondered what fellow basics members felt regarding hours spent with doo's at this time of year , My day starts every morning at 5-45 have breakfast then let widow cocks out at 6-30 to 7-15,meantime tend to all other birds except racing hens ,of to work 7-45 ,if working local hens out at 12 noon till 1 o'clock if things go to plan unlike today as they did not finish flying till 1-15 buggers,of back to work till 5pm then down road with hens if all goes well ,then cocks out for there fly ,and in meantime see to all others plus let youngsters into large cage and train them back through bob wires at feeding time (70 in just seconds tonight so getting there),if good night young out for 1 hr after hens back home then cocks out, then tidy up and see all is well,in between times try to eat and then take dog for a walk it is then well past 9pm ,cup of t have a look on basics then watch bit o telly before bed at midnight christ it won't be long till morning,(must be easier when retired),look forward to your reply's ps still love the doo's as much as i did in the 70's atb Mick .
