tiger Posted August 18, 2018 Report Posted August 18, 2018 Glad you are happy with your returns thousands missingHopefully they be there in the morning
REDCHEQHEN Posted August 18, 2018 Report Posted August 18, 2018 It was very windy here at Redcar today, forecast was 18mph winds but were nearer 30 with gusts bringing the poor birds to a standstill at times, we thought it would be a disaster but returns were pretty good and better than expected. Typically my first one back last week is one of the two I have missing this week. I've not had anything back on a 2nd day with young birds so far this season

greenlands Posted August 19, 2018 Report Posted August 19, 2018 Stopped my young birds because of YBS.Hearing some serious reports for this weekends race from Appleton ans Stafford for both Derwent Valley and West Cumbria Feds.I'll go as far to say must be the worst race ever for young birds.Wouldn't like to put a figure on returns but did hear on 30 or so pigeons for West Cumbria when the clocks were checked, got to be 75% or so missing from Derwent Valley. Will take a good bird to home this morning as the weather is atrocious.
