Got a letter from the SHU yesterday reporting one of my young birds ( North Berwick).

Phoned this morning to make arrangements for its return only to find out it had been liberated :emoticon-0179-headbang: . Why report it then chuck it out.

Well at least I know they are ranging ok.

i always thought when you reported a bird it had to be confined until owner made contact :emoticon-0138-thinking:

I got a email yesturday saying I had a pigeon reported that is 3 year old now and I lost it as youngster and can't get a hold of the guy either

Got one reported last year that had been missing for six years.

When quizzed the guy said his late brother had it from a youngster.

Needless to say I refused to send for it and reported same to SHU

Who were really powerless to act as the bird was in Southern Ireland.

Was it Mr & Mrs Wardhaugh

Graham now flies in Gladsmuir Club and resides in Dirleton, Jim, used to be in North Berwick club years ago but that club ceased to exist before the split, last guy who flew from North Berwick itself packed up about 5 yrs ago
