dkj Posted November 6, 2016 Report Posted November 6, 2016 hi billy looking at the photo.s the hut on the right hand side looks if it will be dark, and i take it, the left hand hut has clear sheeting on the roof to let light in. if it was me i would put clear sheeting on the roof of all the huts

Have changed from all the sun light entering via skylights. A number of polycarbonate sheets later and all the lofts are still light and bright. Have in the past had clear sheets only on the loft on the right but always had problems with condensation.

Have in the past had clear sheets only on the loft on the right but always had problems with condensation. thats good billy hotter the better for me in the summer, natural heat. and billy you only get condensation when its really cold in the winter which i can live with, its looking good

Can remember when I bought the big loft it had what I think is called off set apex roof with all clear sheets at the front . But as you say on cold and damp days that would cause the problem. At that time I always had chip Wright on the floor. Like everything with pigeons pros and cons.
