Roundo Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 As our birds complete their moult we have started to turn our attention to the birds we will be looking to sell as we are no longer racing, therefore only a few favourites will be retained. When looking through the remaining birds, I was pleased to see there are at least 10 'individual' 1st Federation winners, with a few being multiple prize winners. All this from a small team of racers housed in a 18 x 6 loft. Out of curiosity, how many individual 1st Federation winners are currently housed in your loft?
andy Burgess Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 7 in the race loft an 2 in the stock shed , only a small race team housed in a 16ft x 6ft loft .
fletch Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 1 in race loft. And 1 in stock loft at moment

Novice Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 Outstanding m8 Perhaps a more meaningful question would be how many federation winners do you house in your lofts whose performances were achieved at distances over 300 miles?

Ive not been in a fed in 8 years Robert. The best I had was when I raced only 12 birds one year and had 6 fed toppers and 2 SNFC section winners out them. Small is beautiful lol

PIGEON_MAN Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 To be honest when I am buying pigeons to breed off I am more interested in what they have bred before not how well they have raced.
buster151 Posted October 12, 2015 Report Posted October 12, 2015 Not even a club winner let alone a fed winner
