Walter, why the ' ... England in danger of leaving early.?! - Mind in the hardest grouping, it is still between three countries! -

Surely it is time for the Scots, Welsh and co to hide their misbegotten uncalled for jealousies!

The English ALWAYS cheer on ANY home country when they are out, or not involved ... Indeed would if ever a home country progressed further than the English.

I know Farrell can kick and defend quite well I didn't see the game but ford is the best 10 England have he has imagination a trick something Farrell could only dream of ford is inline with the new breeds of 10s in the world

Farrell and Ford have come through Rugby together at all levels. Though it is always said you can't play them together etc. We did against France in the 2003 W.C. with Wilkinson and his mate - name escapes me unless I look it up.

But Ford DIDN'T kick well against Fiji, so maybe that was why Farrell got preference ... then put them both on later :mellow:

Did arrogance cost England - as many try to make the case - in not taking the last penalty kicking into the 22.... I thick, personally that Wales and Scotland would have done the same ... GO FOR THE WIN at all costs! Comes off great, doesn't... well makes a lot happy lol :crying:

Yes you are absolutely correct Roland in everything you say I suppose it's just a natural reaction to a life time (82 years) of being patronised.

I think it's great Walter that you are proud of your country, ancestry etc.

Further I think of the four home countries only England aren't. Indeed I'd wager 60% don't know who St. George was supposed to be... Let alone his Saint day date. (23rd of April). Only interested when it's on tele ... and the wife's / women moaning about Coronation street/ East Enders not showing lol.

We as a whole have very little traditions in England, or next to none. But like Scotland / Wales / Ireland a wealth of history. Royalty etc. .... Which brings in £millions upon £millions in tourist trade.

Thank you for your reply Roland, I know this is supposed to be a pigeon site and I do not want to attract the attention of the site invigilators but you are correct in what you saw I have spent my life making an amateurish study of the histories of the countries in these islands (not too strong on Wales).I have always despaired of the anti English views of some of me fellow countrymen.I have two English nephews who are confused in their loyalties but are encouraged by me to stand up for England their birth country.

I will open another page in this regards Walter call Traditions where this may be debated or experience's of happenings and is it logic. That is if Andy doesn't blow it out within a few minutes. I'll try to post on an appropriate heading....
