Ian McKay Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 Aberdeen Fed charge £130 per loft and ALL birds are included for all Fed races It's brilliant Fed get all fees in at the start of year If they include SNFC races in the averages they are included in you Fed fee We don't charge for clock setting We have plenty room if you want to move :emoticon-0136-giggle:

My club charge 50p a bird of which 34p(ish) goes to the Fed. The Fed charge by crates sent and not by birds sent. The Fed I fly in is by far the cheapest around.
Ian McKay Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 Ian u still have your club fees shu fees ect to add on and has it been a good thing for your fed with the amount of members there is flying I clearly stated our Fed Fees Everyone has Club (£20)& SHU fees (£18) I was against it at the onsett but have changed my mind it is the best thing that our Fed has done Sec don't collect money every week and have to forward it to Fed Treasurer Amount of flying members got nothing to doo with it
KEVIN ELLIOTT Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 Ian u still have your club fees shu fees ect to add on and has it been a good thing for your fed with the amount of members there is flying YOUR RIGHT ALAN BUT STILL UNDER £200 A YEAR IF YOU JOIN THE NWHU YOU GET YOU RINGS FOR £0,15p EACH AND £3.50 TO JOIN FREE TRANSFER OF RINGS SO ALL IN ALL A LOT CHEAPER THAN SOME LADS

geordie1234 Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 I'd love Lanarkshire to say at the start of the year £130-£150 and that covers all racing instead off paying money oot every friday

BLACK W F Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 What are you trying to say Alan what Fed /Club / Union has not got falling membershipjust an observation Ian yes they all have lost members but is the high cost that your fed pays up front cost them members whats your thoughts
maverick Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 Pentland fed 30p a bird must be one of the cheapest in the country
grdkeith Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 north of scotland fed 35p for all races up to newark and then 50p or 60p for the longest , £25 fed fees
PIGEON_MAN Posted July 31, 2015 Report Posted July 31, 2015 Paying up front as always been good for the big team fanciers, but for anyone with only a few birds or one that sends in only a few races it makes it very expensive.

But try tellin the DVLA / Insurance company / Driver we cannot pay full price as a lot of members are not sending Hon / Fuel servicing / Mot / and all other costs do not get reduced because you are not sending the total bill for racing must be paid at the end of the day or you go bust If I were to join a golfr club and only play 3/4 rounds a year do you think I will get cheaper fees? I could go on and on
