alec guinness Posted March 7, 2015 Report Posted March 7, 2015 Was down at the loft early this morning and found a wee griz walking about the garden,after letting it in the trap I found it still rubbered and a bit thin but ok,checked the book and was lost from aycliffe at the end of August. hopefully will turn into a wee gem!!!!

Well done mate. another candidate. Robert Cormack gave us one back just after xmas still holdin 4 flights, on its last now but it will have a tough season I think!

Blue Chequer Pied Posted March 7, 2015 Report Posted March 7, 2015 I had one turn up yesterday that was also lost in August last year, she has been out roughing it but is in decent nick and has held onto her last two flights. Will see how she gets on this year.

Came back hardly moulted everything washed out, rubber still on, jabbed it and treated it, and now flying really well with the team. Was hoping to get it racing but now it is back home it has just started to kick into the big moult, which i expected to be honest
William Reid Posted March 7, 2015 Report Posted March 7, 2015 just be carefull they have not brought anything home with them guys thats how i got caughtThe problem with lost birds (and not all are bad) their immune system is so much greater due to the exposure they have gone through and 9 out of 10 times will cause problems but it is hard to pin point them as the problem when they return .

The wee griz flew out to Newark winning a 3rd prize and has now had a great moult,just a wee update and will be earmarked for this years nationals all being well. :partick-thistle-Crest:
