That sounds much better, your first reply sounded as if you owed Del some money and made a hasty retreat :emoticon-0136-giggle: :emoticon-0136-giggle:

I spent all of 5 mins at this show ...the venue was horrendous to say the least in my opinion ..would be much better in a hall , looks more professional ...The greenhouse location just didnt do it for me , it wasn't the right place to have a pigeon show in my opinion and it smelt of dirt , Location is good mind you and i suppose the tea room next door suits most people and the show organizers , But i feel it would be better suited in a Hall atmosphere ...Anyway ...people seemed to have enjoyed it none the less , but it wasnt for me ...And i only counted around 10 different breeds or there abouts on show ...Another sign fancy pigeons are on the decrease .

Sorry you didn't enjoy the show mate. Its a show that's gaining in popularity every year with most people feeling the lighting for judging is better than any hall. I am surprised you saw only 10 breeds - this year there were over 700 entries with 39 different varieties (your ghents would have been very welcome to take that to 40 types!).

this would not be allowed in racing under RPRA rules to gain 1st prize if you were the only member sending as you are not compeating against anyone is it differant rules for showing ?
