my old T 3 clock hasnt been used for a few seasons .was tested and sealed 2013 . may look to use it next season and the battery has packed in . dont know whats best ,send it away to have it done ,or write it off and buy another 2nd hand one due to cost ??

thought the battery was about £40 andy

if its usually a good reliable clock

its worth getting changed

 

if you buy another one second hand who knows if it has any problems

very true , at least i know the "history" of my clock .ive not as yet looked at cost of a new battery ?

i have an ets system here andy but refused to use it this year for youngsters [throwing money away] decided to use an old stb wind up clock instead never lost a minute [the clock not me] anyway better the devil you know mate

Mrs Burgess has taken more interest this year Joe, and has her "white uns" and a few latebreds she is talking of racing . we have ETS on the main loft , but i dont want all sorts and ages going in and spoiling my "simple" routine ,so, maybe she could race her own ? was my thinking

I did the same but super service £60 plus £12 return carriage,never used it but handy if ets packs up.

Andy got mine sent back up wi a local club that had had all there t3s in for servicing so got it for free but you could ask them when ur on the phone but if you take it to Blackpool with u then it's only carriage one way if your not going i am sure someone would take it down for you hope this helps mate
