Yes I have quarter them 50 mg to each bird but that was the higg that advised me on them

Aye Cem, i was prescribed them in conjunction with Amoxicilin to clear Helicobacter Pilori (primary cause of stomack ulcers) it was the most damaging drug i have ever been prescribed. Within 3 days i was back at the Doc lookin for an alternative cos the stomach pains were so severe.

 

As for ma doos?? NO WAY would i use it because they canny tell me if they're guts are getting torn out with it or not. Jmo

Have used Metrodinazole 400 for years, But 1/4 the tablets so 50 tablets do 200 pigeons. I have always done the young birds on weaning and never again in their life time without experiencing any sign of Canker in swabs taken from 6 year old stock birds and sent to De-Weerd laboratories for tests.

if you have 400mg tablets and you quarter them thats 100mg your giving to your birds ,the ones you get for pigeons are 250mg and it tells you to give a quarter thats about 60mg per bird

most tablets for humans or otherwise have four lines cut in to them so it is easy to half or quarter and would be near impossible to break it any further without spoiling the tablet and unlikely you would get 8 even bits but no doubt that would not me a problem for the Pilgrims leader

AS 50 MIL IS USED AS A PREVENTATIVE, 1/8TH A 1/4 =100 MG TAB WOULD BE GIVEN AS THE CURE

u can get the syrup mix it on the corn or use the capsules 500mg split one add a ml of water mix syringe 0.2 ml per bird for 2 days

not used 400 mg tablets,. BUT I have used 500 mg. . DISSOLVE 1 tablet in 10ml off tapwater , dose birds twice daily by mouth,. 500mg / 0.5ml for 5 days. and by feek it works.
