billt Posted June 19, 2014 Report Posted June 19, 2014 Billt must be hurting lol Not at all George, I've never been a big England team fan, I'll support any UK team against foreign teams but I know most dont, not many teams we've seen so far don't have a player that plays in the EPL. The FA. told us it was good for us and would improve the British teams, I can't see that, the top few clubs couldn't muster an English team between them

greenlands Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 I'm not a football fan,I'll watch any team play as long as it's a good match.BUT why do they play ROONEY ?Must admit he does score goals sometimes !He never runs round looking for the ball and expects everyone to pass the ball to where he's standing, caught a few minutes of the match last night while the adverts were on another station I was watching,he stands about like a kid with a full nappy and daren't move just in case ? then he shoulder a bloke in the back and looks at the ref. as if the nappy had slipped expletive remove. give some kid a chance, there's got to be someone out there. :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

Tony C Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 he is englands top goalscorerPicked by default, no one else out there! https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/premier-league/top-goalscorers.html
greenlands Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 he is englands top goalscorerThat's what I said,he scores the goals but it's the team who have to feed him,if you stand long enough in the right place you'll get the goals, still can't stand him as a player.

just ask me Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 That's what I said,he scores the goals but it's the team who have to feed him,if you stand long enough in the right place you'll get the goals, still can't stand him as a player. in the italy game he covered more yards than any other player and i would think he was right up there again on that stat last night the problem lies with the 2 in midfeild cant pass the ball why did england create so mant chances when barkley came on because rooney had someone to play with little one twos which created space for rooney to spread the ball cahill was cack for the second goal not to follow saurez was a shocking decision welbeck henderson try there best but have no imagination cant see the game dont know where there team mates are around them running around is not good enough you have to have more

knoxjn Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 England never get it the premiership is overloaded with top class overseas players if you left the teams with just English players at the moment none of them would compete tournament after tournament they turn up with players with big reps that are undeserved the players who make them week after week are in the other team then they are exposed for what they are on the whole ordinary rooney is the best player in the team by a country mile once they click and build a team around him as every other country does then they will do what they should do at least semi final every time but the need to sort the premiership out first good luck with that
R.A.M.C.63 Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 Look on bright side England been try,n for years to be as good as spain :emoticon-0136-giggle:

Guest stb- Posted June 20, 2014 Report Posted June 20, 2014 Personally I think Rooney is one of the hardest working players in the team....even at man u aswell does half the midfields jobi watched the replay twice (50 times )lol and rooney was in place to have more chances than saurez rooney only took one though , he did look a bit unfit but did work hard all the same and took a few clatters and just got back up and on with it , Sturidge ??? not in the same class as ROONEY seems to turn his sat nav off when he gets into the 18 yard box clueless, and the other one Sterling clattered about into other players like a poof on speed . Captain Slipper had the ball slip off his heed into the path of Saurez for his 2nd . They wernt as far behind Uraguy as some think though but would say the worst England team i can remember . remember 1966 yah scottish so and so lolwas that when you caught your first bullie on lime Jimmy :emoticon-0136-giggle:
