Because you/they would be probably be prosecuted for liberating an 'alien' species. The strange thing is that there is documented evidence to show they were once native to these Isles. The rspb have decreed that they are 'alien' and hence destroy them at every opportunity.

to set it up you would first have to have nominees that have a large area to house 300-400 pair your yearly fee of 100,000 would be to feed them

and release them each year with no hang up about doing it, should the time come, there would be one breeding station. serving 4 areas the other 4 would be to release only, preferably hidden from every one bar a few .

Wee have been here before but came to nothing if wee just approached the breeders of these birds iam sure wee could come to some arrangement and just like wee have the odd accident with our stock avery,s but wee will bump our gums and do nothing wish it was different
