Can anyone tell me what determines a pied pigeon to be known as a “Gay Pied†please?

I'd say when 2/3 of the plumage is white ???

Hard to put a measurement on it but for me if it's predominantly white it's gay

i think all of the above are correct but for me when one of my pieds starts chasing the same sex about the loft its definetly a gay pied

In my opinion it is just pied be it blue red. Where the gay comes in I think it just that part of the country that made it up

piebald be more appropriate guess some of you just aint having any of that broke back mountain stuff in yer loft lol , but always been gaypied when carrying more none pigmented feathers that what me great uncle told me and questioned it then lol
